This is an AWESOME case! Well worth the $$. You can carry it with or without the outer silicone cover. If you're an outdoor enthusiast, this is a must have. This case offers great protection for all areas of the phone. However, the screen protector seems to let unsightly air bubbles in and is extremely difficult to the air completely. -Bryan
The case is an attention getter!
The case is an attention getter compared to the 'Bumper.' Other people at the AT & T store were eyeing the sales person assemble the HC to my phone. It does add mass to the phone and I hope I don't have to vindicate the results of the YouTube video but I hike a lot and other cases have sent me off trail to retrieve my phone because either the phone or the clip has popped out, too often into cacti. The Ballistic HC clip is large and sturdy. I would like to know the case is water tight while in the clip but there are unprotected openings for sound. -Phx

I have just received my new iPhone 4 today and I was not happy with the current crop of cases until I came across the Ballistic HC. It offers awesome protection for the people like me who work in pretty tough conditions. I have only had it for 1 day, but the protection and the piece of mind it gives me that I won't destroy my new beloved iPhone 4 is priceless, now if only I could say that about the price of this bad boy! This case will cost you 50 bucks, and although it is a tough pill to swallow, I believe it to be well worth every cent! Take my word for it, if you need a tough case now, the Ballistic Hard Core is the right choice! -Denny
This is a product I would definitely recommend.
Much like similar products this case does offer over all protection is all elements. Its easy to assemble and the clip on the belt makes me feel secure about using it outdoors in rough environments. I work with animals outdoors and also I work as a security guard indoors at a museum (no nothing comes to life at night), and I need that security at all times when I am walking the exhibits or am outdoors working with alligators. The only downside I have to say is the fact that the silicone outside layer which is optional seems to fit a little loose and there still seems to be an oiling effect on the screen with out an additional layer of screen surface protection added. I would say bulkiness but that would not be a problem for me, but others might be discouraged to buy this series of cases for that reason but not many. This is a product I would definitely recommend. Especially since they were the first ones out of the gate to offer this level o f protection for the iPhone 4 and have it in the hands of owners. -Jason

Nice snug fit the phone isn't loose at all. The screen protector is right against the glass. You can't even tell it is there. The belt clip works great. Very nice and snug and doesn't fall out. The case is a little big but what do you want from a case that is designed to survive life. There is no headphone jack cover but I still give this 5 stars. Worth the money. -William
Hard Core!
You guys have got yourselves one awesome product here! I love overbuilt stuff and that is exactly what the HC case is....off the chain overbuilt. Let's face it, your competition is Otterbox and they too will have a nice case I'm sure. Two things give your case an advantage besides the fact that it just looks cooler.
You can use it with or without the outer rubber cover which makes it easier to get in and out of your pocket when you want to carry the phone that way and don't need the extra protection. Can't really do that with the Otter because it would look like crap without its rubber cover.
And, your outer cover is MUCH more robust than theirs (thicker with the extra thick corner bumpers where the phone hits the ground 99 percent of the time). I love the "bumps and valley's" for lack of a better description along the perimeter which make it much easier to hold the phone with sweaty hands as well as dry. They provide sort of a natural thumb rest when talking. The case looks great from any angle, it looks "hard core" hahaha! -Ron

I LOVE this case!!! It's the perfect protection for 'my precious'. I picked it up a few days ago, along w/ my shiny new iPhone 4 at the ATT store. This thing is A TANK, and rugged as all hell. My only complaint is the watermarks the built in screen protector leaves, but I had some old left over screen protectors laying around, so I slapped one on the phone before I put it into the case, and haven't had the watermark issue anymore. Other than that, this thing is perfect. I love that I can take the outer silicone cover off if I want to remove some bulk, and it still heavily protects the phone. Great case guys and gals! -Jody

This case is Freaking awesome. My wife and I just got our Ballistic HC Series cases on July 19th after waiting almost a month after the iPhone 4 launch, it was worth the wait. It is the best looking case out there and offers the best protection that your money can buy. My wife and I are very happy. I work in a restaurant as a manager, so I'm always in a rush running from the kitchen to the Dinning area helping out where ever need. I find myself constantly stressing about my phone and if what I'm doing at the time is going to damage the Phone, but with the Ballistic HC case my worry's are gone, I know that my iPhone is taken care of.
