Absolutely love this case! As a Firefighter/EMT I need a case that will protect my iPhone 5 from the elements without weighing me down or taking away from the features and quality of this great phone. I have had the Lifeproof case for iPhone 4/5, the Otterbox Armor Series for the iPhone 5, and the Incipio Atlas Case for iPhone 5, all were returned. Each case left something to be desired and was not quite what I was looking for. The Lifeproof watermarked under the screen protector, the Armor series was like holding a 10 pound brick and the Atlas case muted your sound to almost silent and was near impossible to type through their built in glass screen protector. And then I found this case. I first became a fan of Ballistic back in 2009 when I bought a Ballistic Hardcore case for my HTC Evo 4G, it blew away all the competition out there, including the popular Otterbox Defender and now that Ballistic offers a waterproof option I am happy to again be a customer. As someone who has sampled just about every waterproof option out there for the iPhone 5, this is the #1 case in my opinion, not only for waterproofing but also for drop/shock/dust protection. Its not a cheap plastic feel like the Lifeproof which makes you wonder if the case will protect your phone from any drops over 3-4ft. This case offers a good amount of shock absorbing silicone around the case without the added bulk and weight, this case also does not take away from sound quality or touch sensitivity and it is super easy to put on and take off. If you're looking for a waterproof case for your iPhone 5, this is the way to go, you will not be disappointed. Oh and the best part, Ballistic actually throws in a great belt clip when you buy the case unlike Lifeproof who charges an extra $30 for a BELT CLIP, or Otterbox who doesn't even offer a holster for the brick of a case they call the "Armor Series." Well done Ballistic, I'm happy to be a customer again and will be spreading the word about your products to all my family, friends and coworkers in the Medical Field.
